Wiring underneath the parking brake.

I have a manual 02 GT and I was looking down at my parking brake the other day and noticed a white prong conector that justs sitting there out in the open. I think it was either a 9 or 12 pin connector. Is this somthing thats just for the automatic model. I was just curious if anybody knows?

i've got it too. my theory. if it's supposed to be there and u don't know what it's for. leave it alone.

however, mine's not sticking out. it's beneath the rubber, and i just happened to have seen it.

or maybe...you're just curious about the thing. which i didn't want to leave the thread with on replies.. hehe.

I've got the same thing on my '00 6-spd GT-S. It think it's probably just there for the auto tranny.
