hello everyone, ive got the original 03+ headlights that comes with HID, as u know the color is not that blue its 4000K i think. I have another xenon kit with bulbs of 7000K i guess, color is blue (its a bmw xenon kit,so u know the color im talking about).
Is it possible to install only the bulbs of the bmw xenon kit instead of the original bulbs installed in my headlights, without causing problems? so i get a blue light.
Thanks for your help.

first of all the "real" bmws are the same as the rest i think beemers use the philips + which is the 5000k bulb.

yup the bmw kit is philips as i remember. But i have no idea about the range, i just took a guess 7000K cauz there is a big difference between the color of my HID and the bmw. Would such a small difference as u said cauz a big change in color??

The BMW projectors are a very high quality lense, its manufacturing gives it that rich color that appears like a 8k but its a 5k

not really thats like saying the ferrari projectors are amazing cause of the car but they also come on all audi's(the valeos).
still the best projector for brightness is the s2k.
i wouldnt go over those 5k bulbs.
they arent as bright either they are less lumens then the stock 4300k youll loose light.

The only reason that is pulling me toward not installing the bmw bulbs is that now with the stock xenon the color match the front fog lights ;)
Thanks for ur help anyway.

I didn't say others were bad, I just said that the BMW ones are very good. I know first hand because I work on m3/5 and the other high end's at school.
Hell nissan's projectors are great looking too, they look 9k from a distance then 5k on the road

they are good but they arent the best. most of their cutoffs arent that good. the acura lines are better.
