ebay racing seats

if i get a pair of those seats, will they fit since they are universal? Is it alot of work?? anyone expereice the seats from ebay? i was lookin for somethign like this

They will fit. All you need are some sliders and brackets(specific for the celica). I would never put those seats in my car though. I had some ones like that at one time which wasn't that great but does get the job done.

Another thing to think about is FIA approval (or equivalent). They're more expensive due to testing requirments, but it's definately nice to have the peace of mind that goes with buying a seat that's been adequately tested and proved to hold up well in major collision..among various other rigorous environments a seat is put through.

I'd probably guess at least 90% of seats made would pass, but not a lot of non-name brand seats have been adequately tested so you're left wondering. Anyway, it's important to me, that's all.
