How do i remove this thing. I sat there looking at it for like 10 mins and couldnt figure it out. PLEASE HELP!

u would need a drill and drill down the center and push the rivets off

Yep, just drill through the top and tap it with a center punch and hammer. voila

I used a dremell on mine but word of advice, have a fire extinguisher next to you, damn sparks can light things up especially next to the gas tank :chuckles: but yeah it's safe to use the drill

what is this whole "drill through the top" do u mean on the actual fuel door? or the hinge. pics would help.

i searched for removing fuel lid. that never popped up in my search
so dont drill in to far. just let it be able to spin?

its not about depth really, its the middle of the "doughnut". don't drill larger than the indentation in it.

ok i just drilled into the donut things and now nothin has happened. its still as tight as before. Im stuck, please help

Read the link I posted...someone clearly outlines EXACTLY what to do in that thread. If you still cant do it, you need to step away from the power tools and hire a professional.
