Nitto NT 450 Extreme Performance

How are these tires? Any good on the GRIP scale? 1-10 what would you give it in grip..

1 being worst, 5 being average, and 10 being superior I give NT450s a fat 5. The stock tires are much better. They'll handle most situations perfectly well, but if you put them to the limits they don't offer "extreme performance". On the upside, I've had a set on my CRX last 40k+ miles.

I keep getting these damned things in wheel/tire package deals. I hate 'em. :mad: If you're going to go with Nitto, stick with the NT555 instead... it's a MUCH better tire.

They are good for smoking, they last forever. if you have a 240 SX,you can drift with them too. Thast about it.

yeh that's also the genral consensus i've seen for these tires, lots of ricers try to auto-x on them, not a fast tire at all but will last a very very long time.

yep if you want grip I highly recommend something else. ;)
