What it this thing call and where can you get it?

People put this on there rear bumper and drill out the holes mostly used on civics rear bumpers.

Nasty. They do prove some use, but they look horrible. I've seen a lot of nasty Civics with those around my area. :puke: Everytime I see one with those on, I keep mistaking them for extra exhaust holes. :puke:

The idea is something like this and i made this in paint woot me lol...

The whole point is for the intercooler to get more Air instead of being
blocked by the front bumper.

Just cut the metal part out & remove the bumper foam out...

If you cut the metal bar, "the crash bar", God help you if you get into a head-on collision. What you are suggesting to do is not logical for safety reasons. Do you care more about your safety or getting more air to your intercooler? Think about it. Seriously.

Aren't those called bumper diffusers? Supposedly they were to keep air from getting trapped under your rear bumper. I haven't seen anyone using them for years.
