I'm impressed by the GS450h's numbers. The breaking is surprising considering it's hefty 4K+ weight. What I find more interesting is that it's more of an apples to oranges comparison, the upcoming GS460 would be a better compro with the BMW 550i.

Have you ever driven a Prius or Highlander hybrid? That regenerative braking system adds a lot of force to the brakes.
Id still take the 550i.

BMW's are WAY fun to drive. Plus they continue to offer manual transmissions on their higher-end cars, unlike Lexus and other companies (namely Mercedes).

No I haven't, that's why I wrote that I was surprised. I'll take the upcoming GS460 over both.

ive have always love lexus... but the recent BMW been looking sweet.. more developed for a younger generation...
