Did u ask Toyota to save your SS? Let me know what u want for it. Be nice!! Haha, money is tite as my wifes been sick and not working much lately. Also, if and when you decide to start putting your car back to stock, lmk asap so I can get some $$ together for your kit and maybe exhaust too if I can afford it. Good luck on getting your WRX.

yea, i asked them to make sure they keep it and they said they will (if they dont im gonna be pissed). how's something around $85-$90 sound? (i think they're still about $130 new and this one is still in perfect shape). if that's cool with you let me know. i might be a little flexible too if you can't go that high. also, we got the hoods in today but they didn't send us the larger scoop with it :(. so looks like we might have to send back the small scoops and wait on the big ones, and while that's happening i guess i'll just have to put then one i have now in there. sorry it's taking so long for us to get it all worked out, but i'll eventually get that thing to you. and as far as getting my car back to stock, that will probably take until the end of summer (unless i come across a great deal of money) so that should give everyone a little time to save.

Man, that sucks about your hoods. Seems like nothing goes as planned lately. I just bought some headlight "eyebrows" for mine and they showed up with two drivers side eyebrows. :(
So I gotta send them back too. And yes, that's a fair price on your SS. This is gonna sound really cheasy but do you think i could either pay you half now and half next friday, or just wait til next friday for all. Either way, you keep it until paid for. Kinda short on dough right now. Haha, I'll need help on the install too. :)
And if you don't mind, lmk approx. what you think you might want for your kit. You can PM me or email me if you don't want to post that info. I need to start saving cause I REALLY want that for sure.

that's fine if you wanna pay half now and half later. i'll be glad to help with the install too. and man, that really sucks about the eyebrows too, i think we've all just had really bad luck with mods and our cars in general lately. lets hope our luck gets turned around soon. by the way, i'll try to think of a fair price and PM you with it on the kit.

Cool, thanks. I'm gonna have to change my "sig quote" to; "Cody's old stuff" Haha. When do u get ur car back?
Gotta question about buying your kit...Would it be better for us to just swap back bumpers? I didn't know if trying to remove the back lip would damage your bumper...And do you still have your front bumper or will u need mine in trade?
Thanks, jamie

haha...i like that about having my old car, i think you will pretty much have everything if the kit goes through. and yea, i still do have my old front bumper but it has a few scratches in it. i'll inspect it to see if it's too bad and if it is maybe we can trade and i'll knock a little off the price. and i'm not sure about doing the back bumper thing, i think it probably wouldn't really hurt it by taking off just the lip. we have rox's off now and theres a few little sticky marks but everything looks like it could be cleaned up easily if it needed to be. oh, and my car should be done tomorrow according to toyota. let's hope they're right about that.

:) My bumper has a fresh coat of paint. It's perfect if you want to go that route and take it as a partial trade. I got your PM and that sounds fine to me. You say, it'll be around the end of summer. I'll def have the $$ for ya. If it's sooner maybe we can figure something out. Good luck with your car tomorrow. BTW, if I had gotten on here yesterday, I could have given you a ride home after work today. I only work about 2 miles from MOG Toyota. Sorry...

I can't believe you had more prob's with the hoods at this point I don't think I will bother trying to get a hood and stick with what I got, I am even having second thoughts about the kit and just pimp out with electronics and get tv's and rebuild my trunk with a false floor well see I am doing somthing in July before HIN and NOPI

yea, i'm pretty annoyed with what happened with those hoods too. one also has a really minor scratch and the other has a wave in the fiber too, but they're not noticable unless your right up on it. and one other crappy thing for the day, toyota didn't finish my car as they promised earlier so i get to have one more day without it. they better have it done then.

Hey Cody, since you keep talking about looking for a new car that has torque... I know of a red 97 Supra for 29k... only problem is its an auto, though Supra's auto seem to be alright. :wiggle: I want a Supra

hahaha somebody wants 29k for an automatic supra. that is ridiculous. i could get an is300 cheaper than that. what is up with old supra owners asking so much money for their cars? stupid fast and the furious.

Yea, I was asking him if he was trying to sell it and it just happened he was, I gawked at the 29k and he replied "They're suddenly holding their resale value very well" He was old so I refrained from yelling Damn F&F!

yea, no way would i ever get an automatic, no matter how fast or nice it is. i think it just ruins the whole experience of driving. i dont think theres any way i could afford something that expensive either. i wish people would actually start seilling them for their true values (instead of raising it up about 30 or 40 %) but that doesn't seem like it will happen for a while. thanks anyways...

Driving an automatic is so lame. It would suck to have a car with a lot of power and not be able to do the shifting yourself.
