View Full Version : FS: Tenzo Rally-Type Sport Seats

Okay, for those of you who've been following all my seat threads, I'm sorry to say that I have changed my mind and will be keeping all of my leather seats.

That said, up for sale are two (2) Tenzo Rally-Type Sport Seats. They are in great condition and are exactly like the gray version here:

These are the seats I have been trying to get into my car for the past month, but I've had no luck getting everything to go my way.

Tenzo does NOT make brackets for the Celica, and their so-called "universal sliders" will not work with the Celica (I don't know why, but that's what a rep said when I spoke with them earlier today). The best way to go about installing them into your car would be to have a fab. shop weld an adapter plate to the stock slider. The seat would then bolt to the plate, and the plate can be welded off as easy as it was put on if you want to go back to stock.

The configuration would be like this:
Seat
Adapter
Stock slider
Stock bracket

Each seat retails for $263.74 (not including tax), but I will start the bidding at $250 for the pair.

bummer, i remmeber quite a few celica having these seats installed in their celi, i wonder why you cant get yours to go. GL

my 240 could use the seats, but i just cant get over those TenzoR logos plastered prominently at the top of each seat.

You could cover it up somehow with some stitching ... or be ghetto and color them in with a black permanent marker ... :chuckles:

out of curiosity what kind of rails do they use? Sparco ones? And what kind of sliders?
Also is there something a person can pull to get the seat back to lean forward so people can get into the back seat?

Tenzo brackets and sliders. Unfortunately the company doesn't make them for the Celica, so these would have to be welded to your stock sliders.

Yes, there is a quick-release lever.

Not hard to get universal sliders and here are the rails:
