Fog Light info

I just bought a 2000 Silver GTS. It doesn't have the fog lights, and I would like to get them. Two questions: 1. Is it best to just go with OEM through Toyota or get aftermarket ? 2. Have any of you installed the fog lights and if so how difficult an install ?

Sorry if this is pretty basic, but didn't see it on install area.

Go with some PIAA fogs... if not, go for some catz , they look pretty cool

You got a GT-S and it didnt come standard? Thats weird. Did you request not to have it? You should have had the dealer put one on for you before you took the car off the lot. I like the OEM ones but it might be more expensive now since its already off the lot.

Sorry, I didnt realize it was a 2000 so you got it used and the previous owner probably took it off cuz in 2000 it came standard.

Well it was a little my fault about the fog lights. The people I bought the car from said it had a "fender bender" and the front bumper and right fender had been replaced. I had not done my homework enough to realize fog lights were standard. For some reason the fog lights must have been a casualty of the accident and weren't replaced. The guy had lost the extra keys, remote security device and manual as well. I have ordered a 2002 front grill and aftermarket fog light kit because to put OEM ones is about $700 compared to $250 aftermarket. The only good part is the car is mechanically very good and after detailing looks very nice inside and out. I got a pretty good deal, I think ( $14,500 with only 23,400 miles on it. ).
