Those who missed out on Skunk Killers stop in NJ.. look here

Ok well, as you may know.. Skunk Killer is en route to FL. I missed out on his trip to NJ (kuruptgt's place) cuz my car is in the bodyshop gettin my kit put on.. not to mention final exams are killin me.

Apparently, he is making a stop in VA (Monday the 13th) on the way back.. and I wanna see if he's willing to make another stop in eastern PA (right off of I-95) on his way back to Toronto. So basically, I wanna see if I'm the only one who wants him to do this.. anyone else miss out? We can probably pass the word to him through the VA people to let him know a place and time. Is there anyone at all interested?

I'm willing to offer my place.. unless someone else has a better idea.

Ok so thats one. Awesome. The more people we get, the better chance that it will happen.. I posted this in the NE forum as well cuz I noticed there were a couple up there who were talking about not being able to make it on skunk's trip down.

Well, I know for a fact that would be impossible.. he's in VA coming from the south on the 13th. I was thinking more like Thursday.. maybe Wednesday evening. I gotta get in touch with him. By the way, it wouldn't be in Newtown.. thats where I live. I'd have people come to my dad's house located in the outskirts of New Hope (10 minutes away from Newtown). Newtown's zip is 18940. And also, I need to contact him and check that he has enough LED's.. especially if you are a newcomer to this.

Either way, I need to get hold of him!!

I posted in NE, but here's my deal. I could make it on the 13th, but I don't get out of work till 5:00 and that's in Roseland NJ. Sunday the 12th is mother's day, so i'm guessing you're gonna have probs getting people together. So i'm in for either any night during that week in NJ or that following weekend whereever. I was all set for when he was planning on coming on saturday, then I never heard why he changed it to a weekday...doesn't he realise most of the people wouldn't be able to make it cause they work?

I know he said he couldn't stop at every city on his way back but he would stop by DC area since we had 8 or more peeps interested in the install.

OKAY GUYS.. new development. Apparently, Skunk Killer will be in Houston tommorrow at 7pm ET and I am calling one of the guys down there on his cell phone to get in touch with Skunk. I need CONFIRMATION that either Wednesday evening (after 4pm) or Thursday (afternoon 2pm onwards) is okay for you guys. It will be held at my fathers house.. it's in the outskirts of New Hope, PA 18938 (for those of you who want to check out the distance on mapquest.com). I will give more specific directions to those going later if this all works out. But what I need from you is a definite answer back if you can do it..

Basically, if we have enough people (and i counted 5 of you).. he has more reason to make the stop. It all depends on him from there and whether he has enough LEDs to do it.

I am going to PM you all. Please either PM me back or reply here so I can write you down.

Hmm.. got some bad news. First of all, my grandmother had a mild heart attack.. so I was at the hospital all afternoon and evening.. so calling and getting in touch with Skunk Killer was the last thing on my list. But, after going to the Southwest forum, it appears that it doesn't matter because as far as I can tell Skunk Killer never showed up! So now i dont know WTF is going on at all..

he planned this out weeks in advance and ya'll should have been ready, no excuses, because of ya'll he didn't stop at Houston. he went home. from what i've heard, only 2 total in NJ and 2 in FL. we had 6 ppl at the designated place yesturday, with money waiting for him, and today i was supposed to do this, but he went home because of a poor show up at NJ and FL. Well, you can do what I think I'm gunna do.. once he gets back im gunna contact him and overnight my gauges, clock, and cig lighter to him.. and have him overnight them back. If you can deal with not driving your car for 3 days, then I guess that's the way to go...

Otherwise I think you can buy the LED's off of him and do it yourself.. but beware.. if ya don't know what you're doin, u'll be pissed when you screw it up. I think its like 800-900 for new gauges

i dont think he's gunna be making another trip for a long time. It might be different if he had had a good turnout.. but he didn't.. it was more hassle for him than anything else.

You also have to realise he screwed the majority of us NJ people, and ALL the MD/VA people as well. Originally he was supposed to come on saturday, but then changed it to 2 week days, not caring that people do work, not to mention it happened to be the week which most people are ending the semester at school, so I for one had work during the day and finals at night for the time he ended up being in NJ. Plus he was also supposed to come 2 days in our area and then was a noshow himself for the second scheduled date. So what did he expect????

Just for the record, I never confirmed, so I wasn't a noshow, but don't go blaming the NJ people cause we all got screwed as well. And skunk, i'm not trying to be a pain in the ass, but you have to understand why you didn't get the turnout you expected.
