i was gonna get the gram lights, but the more i look at it, the more it looks like the stock 16" rims i have on my car.
so here is the deal: i'm looking for something that looks good, but performance is even more important. 17x7 or 17x8, something that is lighter then the stock 16" rim that i have right now.
i'm looking into the racing hart c2 or the c3. i dont know anything about these rims. is it heavy or expensive? somebody clarify this for me if you can.
i'm looking to spend around $1100 to $1400.

I'd try looking at Buddy Club P1s... almost as light.

take a look at the SSR competitions. 17 x 8 that are 13 lbs. I think they are 380 a pop though.

Damn, my Flik Lex's from edgeracing.com are 17 lbs each. They look great, they're light and the price is right for 17x7's...$150 each.
Other weight issues can be attended to without big cost, such as if your a** is overweight, exercise. I cut 12 pounds just by watching what I eat...that's 3 pounds per wheel right there. (sarcasm) ;)

Kosei K-1's 16lbs each and $189 a piece. 35mm offset so the car has a wider stance and 7.5in wide rim. Your best bang for the buck....IMHO. I could have gotten other Japanese tuner lightweight wheels but I couldn't justify the cost.... Kosei is a very reputable Japanese wheel manufacturer. $250+ a wheel is rediculious....IMHO

Dude I think racing harts should be your last choice. First off, everyone and their moms got racing harts on their ride. Yes they are affordable but for a little more you could get something else right? Something not too common. Just do some research and then if you still got your mind set on the Harts, might as well be the newest one the C3. The rims are mesh style like the C2's but with more spokes. Should look nice on your ride. But just consider what i explained earlier that way you don't get any regrets later.... peace

i know wat u mean zzt, but my first choice of rims look too much like the stock 16" rims. i saw how the c2 looked on a silver celica and it looks great. i just need to know how much the c2 or the c3 weights.
so can anybody tell me how much the racing hart or rh c2 or c3 weight?
