Sorry to tell you this, but it's gonna get pretty expensive. I had a body kit installed in my last car (99 civic SI) and to paint just one bumper will cost about 175+. Furthermore, you MUST get a professional to install it. The reason for this is because chances are, the bumper might have to be slightly modified for it to fit properly. Installation will cost another 100+ just for the bumper, so, you're looking at about 275+. That's not including the other $250+ for the bumper, or the 120+ for shipping! :-(

I recommend you to get a different body kit.. since blitz is a knockoff kit, you might end up with horrible fitment kit... and it is a bit** to find a bodyshop that is willing to install.. besides cost could be disasterous... full blitz would run about $400-$600 shipped plus another $200-$500 for paint and installation....

I think your best is to go to multiple shops, and compare their reputations and prices. It varies from place to place it seems.

Yeah I would advise you to ask around who would and wouldnt paint the kit... If you know someone that works in a body shop thats a good thing you could probably get it installed for free... I did the install myself it wasnt that hard... But before I had it painted I had to make sure everything was up to par... Anyway I have the Kaminari kit with the CF Race Wing... The Fitment on the kit and wing are OK NOT perfect though... So before I had it painted I had to make some minor adjustments... The cost of painting the kit with install would probably run you 50-100 percent the rice of the kit... My kit got painted for free and like I said earlier I did the install - which takes some time to do if you are working on it alone... Hope that helps...

DAMN, the prices you got are expensive. My buddy is getting his trd style rear, sideskirts and the little black piece in the back of the bumper, all painted for only 100 beans, good luck finding a placce that will do it cheaper bro........

Well if you must know I had my kit painted for free... What Im saying is that if you dont know anyone that does shooting like this... In other words if you dont have the hook up this is what you are looking at... And like I said 50-100 percent of the KIT WITH INSTALL...

First you get what you pay for. Second I went to many many many body shops to get a quote on pricing alone and they were all in the $700-$1000 price range, just for a color-matched base coat and clear coat. I originally planned on doing the install myself. If you don't know already, the old VIS buddy club kit (fiberglass/gray, not white) requires a good amount of work cause the fit is horrible, and the kit needed alot of work as well. Had a bunch of dime sized chips even though it was never installed/painted before. I got the kit for $300/no shipping and that was back when you couldn't get it for under $600+shipping. Also I had them do all the grill-work, and installed my parking lights.

If you know somebody of course you're gonna get a good deal. But for those getting $100 paint jobs, GOOD LUCK is about all i have to say. Expect it to chip super-easy and fade faster then the rest of the car. Also I bet the match is going to be crap, cause they are going to paint it by the paint code, not color-match to your car. My paint/install job came out mint!

My car was done by:
www.eastcoast-custom.com (the web site is new and under construction, i was told there will be pics of my car posted there soon)

For your info. I have have my body kit, hood scoop and have have other friends body kits painted there before, i got a great deal because the guy is not a rip-off body shop and a legit guy. For your info, my jaguar is getting a brand new paint job there right now for a total of 1500 dollars only. So don't tell me what i'm paying for is a cheap crappy job, there are places out there that will give you a good price, you just have to look around. If you guys want, feel free to email me and i will show you a pic of my car and the parts that have been painted, PERFECT liquid silver matcc, so just because you guys didn't get a good deal, don't tell me i am getting ripped off..
