Neon w NoS

I pulled up beside a new NEON R/T on the interstate. We both played for a minute and then he tried to pull away. He had a bunch of stickers so i really wasn't sure what he had under the hood. I heard his exhaust and i am sure he had an intake. But when we were both running 130 he punched it a little bit more and zoomed ahead. Nothing but NOS. I don't mind because when i have 100.000 mi he will have nothing but burn't heads.
I don't mind i can smoke any other neons around GA. Lx Mustangs for that matter.

i would of backed down a long time ago on a damn neon.
i mean, even if a neon wins does it really matter???
dont race to 130... 100mph is plenty fast and still dangerous on regular roads.

and the other thing.. Im assuming he was right with you at 130?? then why all of a sudden would he just then hit the nitrous.. doesnt sound right..

well, a lost is a lost, especially with NOS.

I remember when I had mine, just push the button and look at the other driver as he looks at his speedometer thinking that his car is slow.

wus up everyone, I raced a nos Neon R/T at the track and beat it, it was a close race though. When we were waiting for our turn I see the guy go into his trunk and turn the NOS on, it was a big bottle. I was like whoa. He ran a 14.5 and I ran a 14.4, I was shock that I beat a car with NOS, I thought he was gonna toast me. I talked to the guy afterward, he has all the bolt-ons (i/e/h) and NOS, i forgot how many shots he was using but all I remember was alot. Well at the end of the day, his car broke down it was funny, I see him and his friends pushing the car. Thats what you get for messing with a celica, j/k. I also ran a neon R/T without Nos at the illegals. I have a videoclip of it somewhere, you can find it on my other video post. This guy jumped the lined but I quickly caught up and beat him by a couple of carlengths to 3rd gear, he stopped cause he couldn't catch up, if we ran to a quartermile I would have put 10 carlenth on this guy. After the race, he was like, "I usually beat Celica GTS....i beat a couple of GTS last week by like 3 carlenths...blah....blah...blah" I was like oh really, well you didn't beat my, :) well take it easy all...Lates

Yeah that is what I was thinking as well. ****, Supras don't spray on their engines after 4th gear so I damn well know a Neon couldn't do it and still have a working motor. I'm calling B.S.

Considering my brother has a 1994 Twin Turbo Supra 6speed BPU++++(11.63@120mph) about to go APU don't question my knowledge about Supras. I know more about them than you ever will. Do us a favor and go ask Mark Tozer about using Nitrous after 4th gear and see what he says. I bet you don't even know who he is.....:rolleyes:

11.6 is easy to be had in supra's

try pulling 11.15's on stock twins. tozer can kiss my ass for all i car. using nitrous on the top end is going to lead to eatin valves.
THATS common nitrous sense. not supra nitrous knowledge. its the same thing for them


you know more about supra's? i doubt it son. just because you hang out on supra forums doesn't mean ****. most of those guys are complete morons anyways. but rarely a couple good guys.

so before you challenge my knowledge, either about supra's or nitrous. i suggest you have a very good question.

I see you got passed by a NOS neon. Myself,before my celica I had a neon. I remember one of guys I knew that had NOS on his neon,he ran 14.8 with a Iceman intake too and that it. My old neon I had got it best on a 13.9 with NOS and mild mods I have done to it. My best without NOS is 14.7. Also with the 13.9 I did, I had a 50 shot dry system on it.
I wouldn't feel so bad about the lost,think about it, if you had NOS too like the neon,you would of blown him away.
