how to take apart power mirror?

I need to take apart a stock power side mirror to get it painted. Does anyone know how to do this?

I've got the mirror off the car, and I've removed the three loc-tite'd bolts that hold the mirror housing to the piece that attaches to the door.

So how do I remove the mirror from the housing? I can't figure out how to open up the plastic casing. :(

Oh well, I figured it out myself. Now I need to pull the contacts out of the connector. Man, what a PITA!

hey ted.. i think you just pull the mirror off... then there's some screws for the motor mounts...

and yeah... pulling contacts out of the connector sucks... i had to do that for my trd spoiler...
paper clip works just ok... not great.. just ok
