It really looks great --- Just keep an eye on the rear bumper where the exhaust cutout is --- the tailpipe seems to be imbedded in somewhat this could cause some major headaches. ---Such as paint peeling and chipping due to exhaust heat -- Actually I know from experience --- I have the same rear facisa and my first one got too hot due to not having an extended exhaust pipe -- Needless to say the paint all melted and then chipped. It got really bad after 2 weeks. Luckily the folks at Kaminari were nice enough to send me another piece free of charge -- and the also let me keep the other rear as well. Just a friendly note.

OH ,
by the way -- the interior is very smooth - you did a great job. Where did you get your indiglo gauges, and how much did they set you back. --- Did you also have to recalibrate RPM's and speedometer
Thanks for the tip.
How much and where would i get an extended exaust tip?
oh, and i those are AC reverse indiglo's i got for $60 at www.mbautosports.com

I actuall attempted to get an extention for the tailpipe the day I put my rear facisa on and I had NO luck finding an extender that would fit over the stock pipe. I actually had my neighbor look at it and he came oner with his welder. Needless to say, I was not doing that --- I actually went to my local Toyota dealer and purchased an extended TRD cat back exhaust -- they make 2 types regular and extended. You will need the extended version. As far as price goes it varies --- I purchased mine for 500 -- It may be a good deal and it may not -- My local dealer discounts TRD parts 15% --- I installed it myself -- It took a little under an hour --- BUT if you are going to venture to buy an exhaust system, research it a little --- The TRD is not very "tough" sounding like some of the other exhausts out there. I did notice a little more power though above 3K RPM's -- Just do your homework before purchasing an exhaust.
If you do not have the means for an exhaust -- you can always chech your local muffler shop and see if they can help you out. I didn't want to go that route -- Also if warranty is of any concern to you TRD parts will not void the warranty --- I'm not sure if any other companies will or not -- It's sort of a throw up --- Warranty was a main concern of mine. I only have 2000 miles on my vehicle now --- God forbid if I have a lemon and the warranty is viod due to installation of aftermarket parts. I just didn't want to take any chances.
ALSO --- do you know if the speedometer and RPM needles had to be re calibrated when you installed your indiglo gauges --- sorry for the long message hope it helps

Man, I really like the Kam rear IMO its the best rear out there. I like your setup but for some reason the WW sides dont mesh with the front to well. Nice interior. You got a nice setup. Did you put the mesh on your self? What did you use to make it stay?

Kaminari is nice but I don't think it looks good with the TRD style side skirts. I would get the RMM to match IMO. Nice job.
Thanks the the comments guys. I like the WW sides cause i think it flows very nicely with the back bumper :)
warpig: Thanks for the info. But i was wondering if i could just purchase like an extended exaust TIP? I dont really want an exaust system right now (or the money.) And for my guages, no i didnt have to recalibrate them. They are overlay's so they just slip on top of ur needles and u slide it into position :)
Pure Racer: I wanted homeycomb grills at first, but i think it was bluebomber that told me that the stucture sucks and bends easily. So i went to home depot and got my own grill from there. It's not the same one that i have on the car though, because when i took it to the shop to get painted, Joe at wetworks garage told me not to put that "chicken wire" grille that i got from home depot. He said he some of his own grille, and would install those in for me instead. For free. :) I'm glad he did cause in my opinion his grille looks 10x better than the type i bought at home depot :wiggle:
Oh, and i believe he used hotglue gun to keep the grills in place.
iNteGraz92: What's smb?
sweet setup. i like the k kit

Uhm, I don't think it really matters if it bends easily, I've have mine on for 2 years and they are just fine... I used epoxy to put my grills on, much stronger then hot glue....

Box,
I had absolutely no luck finding an exhaust tip that actually had a large enough radius to slip over the stock tip. I actually was in a store today and saw an APC exhaust tip that looked pretty large. Best bet is to measure the diameter of your stock tip --- drive the vehicle to your local car parts store --- preferably a store w/ some half decent aftermarket parts --- check out some tips and measure them --- If they measure up (of course the OD (outside diameter) of the stock exhaust pipe must be a little smaller than the ID (inside Diameter) of the slip on tip) -- for the tip to slide over. Slide it on in the parking lot --- if it fits go home and mount it -- if not get your money back before you drive home and keep searching. BY THE WAY thank you for the info on the rev. indiglos -- I may just purchase a set until for now until i can obtain a full gauge pod. GOOD LUCK --- HEY PM me Lghtwait78@aol.com if you do find something that fits. Great job on the kit -- classy choice.
