I just got myself some 61/2's for the rear but I couldn't take off the panel that hides the speaker. Are any screws or bolts holding the panel on or am I just not pulling hard enough? Could someone please give me some pointers on installing rear speakers?THANKS

there are 2 plastic screws and you have to take off the upper part of the rear seat which is 2 10 mm bolts. take that off then kinda pop off the plastic piece.....you have to pop is off, near the side of the door.

so the rear seat is two separate pieces? Another question I have is how do I take off the rivets or screw that holds the stock speaker in place?

the seats have the backs (left and right piece) and the bottom piece.. after u remove the seats, the two plastic things holding the side panel, and bolt, you just pull hard from back to front.. you can slip off the front part where the door closes by pulling a bit and sliding it thru..
stock speaker i hear u gotta rip off the rivets, but i'm not sure.. the shop that installed my speaker kinda did a weird install.. they used screws to hold in the speaker but not in the traditional way.. they basically held it in by making it rest on the screws (screws on outside of speaker)..

you have to drill the rivets out, get a drill, and drill right throught the rivet, eventually, it will come off......pain in the @$$!
