JEEZ..fugging careless!! I almost got smooshed in my CELI!!

Ever have one of those near-death experiences?

I just did.

I was leaving my Combat Medic class, and was hyped after giving some IVs to people, had the music blaring...

Pulled up to a intersection, looked both ways, went forward about 5 feet...

AND SAW THIS HUGE RED BLOB FILL MY VISION AS IT ROARED PAST.

I **** my pants, hit the brakes, and stared at the lady in the car in front of me, across the intersection.

Damn...I was pissed....I shook my head, raised my fist and continued on, embarassed as hell, and thinking ugly thoughts about my stupidity.

Didn't even look at the truck that almost sideswiped me.

Only thing I can figure, is that it was red, and happened to be in the blind spot where the forward right roof strut is....

I'm so FUGGIN lucky...god.

Anybody else almost kill themselves? Or their Celis? :(

Well I almost got nailed in my Celi last week. It wasn't my fault though. I was driving on some busy street and to the right was an entrance to a ramp for some highway. I was in the far right lane but not in the ramp lane. All of a sudden I see one of those f#cking Lincoln boats comin across into my lane with absolutley no regard that I was there. I slammed my brakes and let the
sh!t head in. I speed up to see some 125 year old man driving it. I was EXTREMELY annoyed esp. cause my Celi is gonna be up for sale at the end of the month to get my 6 speed.

I mean, we've all done some stupid stuff, but I pretty much felt disgusted at myself the rest of the way home.

i dont have a celica anymore but i was in my civic last week and some old old guy just came flying off the highway driving a buick park ave and side swiped all the way off the road. i was pissed just not cuz he almost killed me but i just bought the car 2 days before this happen, bastard tried to tell the police that i hit him first. i hate old people.

Yes sometimes when you pull up to an intersection, there will be a car going just the right speed so that it is hiding in that right bar between the windshield and the passenger door. There is an intersection 1 block from my house and cars disappear if they're going the right speed, plus the sun is usually coming from that direction.

I dunno what's worse though, making a mistake yourself, or being rear ended by some fugckin twat in a Eddie Bauer Bronco on a 70 degree perfect day while you're in the left turn lane. Thankfully it didn't happen to my celica. "can we just exchange insurance?" yeah right ... do you want that ass-whooping here, or to go? :D
