I took a recording of this knocking sound , i dunno wtf it is, or maybe its normal, someone please watch it and if u have any ideas, reply.

I think you've got some serious trouble...did you mis-shift at all anytime recently?

Sounds like somethings f'ed up and slapping...I've never heard what bent valves sound like cuz I've never done it...

But that sounds like something is pretty well shot. I'd definetly take it in for a look, but first..what's the story man...how'd this occur?

Wait..but actually..after I listen to it..it kinda sounds like something plasticky or so...just kinda flapping...but hell..man...this one is above my head. Sorry. :(

Anyone ever heard bent valves or a broken engine before?

Doh..

Dude...your valves MUST be bent then...aargh. Better take it in, my man..and have YOUR FRIEND pay for it, if the dealer doesn't cover it.

Your friend should know better, if he can't drive responsibly, then he shouldn't drive at all....hell.

whats my other options if the dealer doesnt cover it, i kno a brand new motor will cost an arm and a leg, wat else can i do?

Umm...replace the broken parts, I assume...

But that's basically what the dealer is gonna do...

Check and see if your Insurance will cover it? I have the bumper to bumper coverage...it's even for the engine and powertrain...

dude just through a shiiii fit they will fix it. call the big cheeze and tell them you know a guy who got his car bought back by toyota because of this same crap. Why you think Toyota quit building the pile!?
