Gauge Face Help

I bought new gauge faces for my '01 Celica GT-S. We are having problems with the installation. There are two black and red wires that we do not know where it goes to. The instructions were terrible, and nobody in my area knows how to install gauges for some reason. PLEASE HELP :confused: Mucho Gracias.

Can tell which gauge face did you get??
It seems like indiglow gauge face...
Red wire is the power source black usually ground...
But not sure why it has two black wire...

^^^Just connect that to ur cig power source..does it come with a switch?? or a press button activation pad?? like Dooly said, red=12+ (power)..black=12-(negative or ground)..

yeah it comes with a blue and green button with a brightness turn nob

wire the red using a "mini-sue tap" or "add-a-circuit" in the passengerside fusebox on the tailight fuse. that way it comes on when ur lights do. and jsut ground hte other wire

Same thing as wiring it to the ring on the cig lighter.... it will only be on when your lights are on. :cool:
