colored CF hood......

i dont visit this section of the forum much, so can some1 please tell me if there are colored CF hoods?? acouple yrs back i saw a red celi on here that had the CF hood coated the same color as the car. you can see the wave of CF but it was in red instead of the black. it looked like it had been clearcoated red or something

any1 have this done??

there are hoods that are weaved with red, blue, yellow, and even silver carbon fiber. from shopping around.

I think you can take a regular CF hood but paint it with a candy of whatever color to get an effect like you're describing

there's a company in Japan called D-Drug and they specialize in high quality aeroparts and carbon products (also in special color carbon products). They don't offer parts for celicas but I've tried to contact them to make a custom hood for my celica...no luck

Fed, I guess that would be a possibility but the price it would probably be as much as a c-one hood is.

well i dunno if cf1 is around anymore. but they offered those colors i mentioned.. and it was about 100 dollars more to get any of their hoods in those colors.

getting a pearl coat as mentioned will also get a similar effect. but not the same. and i've only seen it down with silver.

i found one company that is smaller and i havent seen reviews on it btu google celica carbon hood and u will find it eventually. seemed pretty cheap in price.
