I already have an Apexi S-AFC, but I need to get it installed. Anyone know a good place to get it done? Also, where would you sugest I put it inside the car? I was thinking at the top of the dash in the center consil, but alot of people have that. Any other ideas?
thanks

You should sell your RMM intake and get a Injen CAI, they rock!!! Yeah, try Garage SPL, or... Uhm, Maybe Pro Audio in Federal Way and then Speedline in Tacoma...

I will be up in your area around June 7th or so. If you want to wait that long, I will meet up with you and install it. I did mine in like 45 minutes. I will do it for you if you buy me lunch, and that's it. Normally I charge $50-$75 for stuff like that, but if you are willing to wait and be patient, I will hook it up.

What can you do with a s-afc? adjust air/fuel ratio? I thought the Toyota computers on these cars were tough to crack...I know i sound dumb, just never messed with one of these things..:D

Hey brotha...don't pay someone to install it, do it yourself..I did. It was a piece of cake, and the ECU diagram should be on NewCelica.org

Trust me, it's not that difficult, you just have to get over the fact that you're ripping into your car's brain. :gap:

As for what it does, let me put it this way:

Anyone can slap on an intake and exhaust and say, look my car is faster. But if you're gonna do it right, try to tune your car to accept and use the modifications the way they should be.

With an S-AFC, I was able to gain 6 more useable HP from my Injen CAI. Useable, as in throughout the powerband, not as in peak.

Not to mention, now that I have nitrous, I need to help keep my engine running rich when I'm on the juice, otherwise I could blow it.
