Hi,

Next week I'm getting a set of 18x8 wheels with 225/40/18 tires.
My question is: will it fit and ride better with that tire spec instead of 215/35/18?
I believe since 225 tire is wider than 215, it will give more aggressive look, and 40 will give me more comfortable ride than 35.
They come in wheel & tire package, so they're already been mounted and balanced.
Since the wheel is 2 inches bigger than our stock GTS (16"), my next question is: do I need to do balancing and spooring? How much does it usually cost?
Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks,
David

hi, I am getting 17x8 rims. I have searched a lot on this website. I am going for the 235-40-17. I know you are 18x8, but the 235 is how wide the tire is. Just my 2 cents.

You're good man. Nothing else needed. 235 is the width and the 40 means the sidewall is 40% of the width.

By the way. Didn't you have rims on your car already? If so let me know what size and maybe when we meet up bring one with you so I can see them. Thanks

^^The rims just came yesterday. Now I'm still waiting for my TRD Sides & Rear. Probably I'll be working on my car this Saturday and I'll post pics as soon as I've finished doing installing them. Thanks.
