Did anyone get the Skunk Killer conversion?

I saw on another thread that he was in FL, but not for very long, so I'm wondering if anyone around Orlando got it done? I'm shoppin' around junkyards for a guage cluster to mess around with. Hopefully if my experimentation works, I'll have a converted dash.... Still gotta buy the LED's though.... Anyone have any clue how much a guage cluster from a junkyard would cost?

Hey Edrick,

Skunk came to my place along with J3ASeed and he did our gauges. I got my LCD done in blue and my needles in red, it looks awesome! I'm very happy with it. I also got the center console lights and the clock done. The guy had to sauter (spelling?) a bunch of stuff and it looked pretty difficult. He had all the stuff though. He did a good job on mine and I'm happy with it. It was a little expensive but worth it I guess. Unfortunately, the other guy that came over had problems with the install. There was a short in one of the wires in the center console when skunk was working on it. We don't know what caused it, but it's apparently a costly repair. His gauges were done and it looks good but now he's got the center console cig lighter and a/c defogger light problem. He's working something out with Skunk now, but it was unfortunate. It's a tedious process Edrick, the cigarette lighter was what caused the short and it was the hardest led to do. I didn't get mine done, but it caused the other guy's problem. If you want I can get more in detail. Let me know. It was interesting.

yeah it sucks ass. he said he'd pay for it to be fixed. but i have to pay first. then he'll pay me back. so i'm a little nervous.

cig lighter doesn't have an LED...its a BULB....does he stick an LED in there or something? oh and i posted this in the NJ forum too, so i'm not just mad at ya'll...its a GROUP thing:

he planned this out weeks in advance and ya'll should have been ready, no excuses, because of ya'll he didn't stop at Houston. he went home. from what i've heard, only 2 total in NJ and 2 in FL. we had 6 ppl at the designated place yesturday, with money waiting for him, and today i was supposed to do this, but he went home because of a poor show up at NJ and FL. WTF is up with that...freaking sell outs in FL.....:angry:

don't say its my fault when i showed up. not only that, he knew there were only 2 people in florida. he knew because i was the one who PMed everyone who said they were going to do it. and i knew they weren't when only one person PMed me back. he had to have known that when no one contacted him back as well. its the NJ people who all were acting like they were doing it, and didn't show up. so don't call me a ****ing sellout.

He said quote that skunk knew beforehand that only two thats right count it two people were going to show up to do this in Fla unquote.
