I've recommended to Larryd that a list of wheel sizes, the correct offsets, and fitable tires be written and posted. His reply, if one's written, then he'll post it.

However, I'm unfamiliar with wheels and tires. It will probably help to eliminate people from asking so frequently by just posting the link. Would someone here take up the responsibility of doing this? It would be a great reference guide.

One more question. Why do some people have trouble with 17" rims rubbing the brake caliper? When 15" rims fit with no problem.

as max already stated, yes the tire will fit, but its pointless to get that wide of a rim and put that tire on there. you're not gaining anything from the extra width. youd be better off just getting a 17x7 rim, unless the rim youre looking for only comes in 17x8 or you're planning on putting a wider tire that will take advantage of the wider rim later on down the road.
