I know a handful of people have these. I already have ARP head and main studs in my engine, but not the manifold studs. The nuts that come with the main and head studs are just standard flange style. I'm wondering if the head stud set comes with self-locking nuts or not?

I dunno if yor are talking about the exhaust manifold studs, but...
Yes Jesse the ARP exhaust manifold studs comes with 12 point M8 1.25 nuts and washers. They are ionidized black and they are not locking nuts.
If you are worried that they will pop out like what happened to me, you can either put some thread locking compound or just go the local hardware store and grab same size stainless steel locking nuts. I got my extras after one stud keep popping its nut out.
