i dont think any company makes them, pretty sure you would need to go custom on that

Fraid so. You can get CF hood and rear hatch and thats all.

You will not see the aftermarket support you saw on Honda, this is going to be expensive and a lot of custom job.

Ours is a full unibody car so it's a bit different than Rado's old car.

We'll be running modified steel fenders, fiberglass front bumper and carbon hood at least initially. No 1-piece front ends are available right now. Lexan windows are available.

No ill feelings of course- we're always happy to see others building these cars up for competition.

Authority1- which engine will you be running?

Awww thats no fun. If you're going to bother ditching the 2ZZ at least step up to a 1GR or 2GR and make some serious power ;)

Okay.... just FYI though that "tacoma motor" had a custom tranny and was extensively modified by TRD - unless you're buying the motor from them you are in for some serious R&D.

The build of the motor not to worried its not stamped in stone that's the motor were going with I would really to to build a 2zz not sure if they would be able to handle four digit #'s , as for the tranny its a fortin gear box expensive as hell but to get into a car like this you need to expect alot of r+d and expense

cool deal

and no - the 2ZZ won't hold 4 digit power numbers - the guys I talked to at TRD said the head started warping at about 800 HP when they tried to build one for Rado. Sounds like you are going about things the right way IMO. Good luck and keep us up to date on the build with lots of pics!
