Welps,
My gauge came in yesterday, but the only free time I had to drop off the car was today, so I dropped it off just now at 4.
He's going to install the A/F gauge (AGAIN..dangit), and make a few runs on the dyno using a 35 and 50 shot.
I wanted him to do a 50 shot, even though I'll be only running the 35 for now. I plan on spending sometime getting used to driving with the small shot before moving up a bit more.
But I should have dynos up on disc, scanned and ready to go in a bit. I'll post here...
Is this appropriate for this section? I figure it's more of a general curiosity thing than specifically FI...I figured a couple of people would like to see how much power N20 will put down for you.

Welps just picked up the car.
Only bad thing is, I have no juice..lol. It got used up during the tuning process...so I'll have to wait till tomorrow to find out how bad this mofo is..heh.
Anyways, their printer had a cow, so I've got the results on disc, but they're a dyno binary, so I can't exactly view them right now.
After they get their printer back online I'll finally get a scanned copy...anyways.
They used a Mustang Dnyamometer program with Inertia something or another technology.
The runs were not dyno corrected, and were with an estimated weight of 2,700. Before you freak out, I weigh about 200 pounds, so I wanted ON THE STREET results. The dyno uses an electromagnetic wheel to add "poundage" to force the engine to work as if it was rolling on the street.
LOL..it's amazing what a little weight loss can do for your car..heh.
I put down an 154 horses at the wheel without the 35 shot.
This is in comparison to my previous dyno of about 165 horses using SAE correction down in Sacramento... I asked Ray about this, and due to the type of dyno, and the fact that it's not corrected, he said it's gonna be a heckuva lot lower than my previous dyno.
When he ran it with the 35 shot, it jumped up to 189 horses at the wheel. Kinda strange cuz it's a 36hp increase instead of a 35, so who knows what the deal is.
Unfortunately, we didn't get to discuss the torque numbers at all, because I had to jet....but I'm taking it to a different dyno later on this week to get some SAE numbers for comparison for you guys. And for myself.
I didn't get to get any runs in, but he said he did about three runs up on the highway to make sure everything was dialed in. He said it kicked ass...so I believe him.
We'll see tomorrow..heh.
Another thing is that I haven't run with the 50 shot, cuz they ran out just tuning it for the 35. He said he thinks the engine could take a 50-60 shot no problem, but doesn't really like the idea of running a 75 on it.
Can anyone help me figure out what the numbers would be in SAE, for the moment?
I mean I could pretty much say that since it was a 36 horse increase, then just tack that on my previous dyno in Sacto, and it would be about 200 horses at the wheel...but we all know how iffy that type of reasoning is.

how come you only put down 154 though?? 189 isnt really that great for a nitrous shot of even 35.. I mean I put down 178 not corrected before with just i/e

I really think it has something to do with that INERTIA crap dyno thingamabob.
That's why I'm getting it dynoed at a different place...I just want a standard dynojet reading.
That thing tries to account for things that regular dynojets don't use. It's kinda weird..but go to www.mustangdyne.com to see what I'm talking about.
blah..I know..I was upset too..

Doh...
Heheh...I guess that's why I'm heading out to ProMAX to get a SAE dyno done.
Thanks for the heads up. :D
