If i get rims that are lighter and have a diameter thats an overall diameter (tires included) thats slightly less than the stock wheels, than i should be accelerating faster right?
by the way i drive 2000 gt-s 6spd

Do you mean lighter 16"s and smaller tires? I don't understand what you meant. But if so, yes.

Simple answer: yes
Long answer: depends, but even with the variations that could come in to play, you won't ever notice it. Stay away from 25lb up wheels and you will be fine.

Acceleration = lightweight 15 inches wheels ...
A better compromise would be lightweight 16 inches wheels ..
