My sister got a K&N Typhoon intake a while ago and i just put it today and for some reason when she starts the car it sounds fine but when she turns off the car it sounds like air escaping from somewhere and i have no clue where.. but there are two vacume nipples that have nuthing connected to them they're just open, but like i said when she turns off the car there a high pich sound. i told her it was just air coming out of the vacume lines but i just want to make sure that's what the problem was. or if theres any problem at all
Thx
P.S. I'll have video of the sound A.S.A.P.

The noise is normal. It's even there with the stock airbox, just not as loud.

Yep, that sound is awesome.. mine does it if I let the clutch out a little with no throttle, when it gets to nea-stalling RPMs

That whole piece gets removed along with all the hoses connected to it, and the intake manifold gets capped off where one of those hoses went.

I love that sound, although every time I turn off my car the sound reminds me of how bad I want a turbo kit :(
