Hey guys, it's about time for some tires. I currently have Eagle RS-A's and I think they were SHlT. they were extremely noisy and didn't offer too much grip. I don't want to spend more than $400 on tires. And I'm looking for something that is quiet and performs relatively well in all climates. I was thinking of the Kumho Ecstas ASX's, but then I saw the AST's for $20 cheaper. What do you guys think? I tried searching, but couldn't find anything.

I got some goodyear eagle GS-D3s for $400 shipped cause they were on special. So far I like them, I think they grip well and the ride is fine. My only beef with them is rocks get caught in the treads easy and make a clicking sound when I drive.

My own suggestion is to never be cheap on the tires! If there is one place to put the best on your car, it is there. Again, my opinion!

I've got the AST on my Celi. I hope your not getting them with any kind of perfomance in mind if so you will be very disappointed. I got them because they were the cheapest and will last a while, but I have fun sometimes with their lack of grip :) I'm fine with having non performance tire on my Celica because I have the Evo as my performance car. BTW after the awsome stock evo A046 wear out I will be going with the Falken Azenis RT-615 255/40/17 the best dry perfomance tire in their price range, they are a bit heavy though. http://www.vulcantire.com/azenis_rt615_t.htm
