I notice on alot of cars there is some sort of safety buffer zone for gas, it can say empty but in reality has a couple gallons left, just so people who wait until the lats minute wont be stuck on the side of the road. For our cars, I think it's the same way, one time when I first got the car, the gas light came on (1 bar) and then when the bar went off like the tank should've been empty, 2 bars showed up. Is this programmed in or was that just a fluke? I dont wanna try it out and be stuck on the side of the road because it was a fluke, so Ive always been scared to drive it at 1 bar. Any experience with this?
