I have a 2002 Celica GTS and I wanted to get the TRD short shifter and it came up with these choices of styles of Celicas. What do they mean and which type of Celica do I have?

As said..ZZT231 If you have an '02... you probably have the updated shift gates & springs... you won't use the shifter frame that comes with the TRD.

so the TRD short shifter will work on the '02 though?
You can't use the TRD shifter spring assembly... you'll have to remove the shift lever from the TRD frame & install it into the existing frame. I'm sure there are threads around about it. Just follow an install guide such as this: http://www.newcelica.org/forums/showthread.php?t=118041 except that you'll have to remove the shift lever from the TRD shifter frame in order to install it in your existing frame or swap the OEM spring assembly onto the TRD frame.
The housings are exactly the same, it's the spring assembly ON the shifter housing that's different  . If you have one of the affected Celicas, just use your OEM housing & spring assembly. Or you could use the TRD housing with the OEM assemblyCheck out this thread for a shortshifter comparison: http://www.newcelica.org/forums/showthread.php?t=210641
