is there anything i can do to the auto transmission to make it better, like the LSD? i have the triptonic so i'm not exactly sure as to why it doesn't have the same ability as a real manual, please excuse my ignorance in this matter, thanks

You would be better off swapping in a manual transmission, especially with a naturally aspirated car.

can't do that, i have a below the knee prosthesis (fake leg) on my left leg and i am unable to work the clutch. i was just wondering if there was something i could get for an auto that would make the shifting more performance based rather than on 'economy mode'

There is a torque converter I looked at for mine. I believe it's made by Level 10 or something like that and I believe its around $1000. I looked at it before I decided to go for a 6-speed swap in the spring. Look in the Parts Catalog under the GTS Performance and Transmissions, I believe it's there!

I would highly recommend a better tranny cooler with the torque converter -- the JMO package is excellent.

you could also go with Protorque

Also a valve body upgrade from level 10 or IPT would help and

Also consider lightweight wheels and tires -- quicker pick-up AND superior braking and handling.
Doing all of the above will make the car significantly quicker (i.e., 1+seconds faster -- which is a nice improvement!) with better throttle response. But to really get the car moving, you need to go FI :)
