View Full Version : Are shoulder pads just plain rice??

I want to know if this apperance mod. is still a thing most people do? I know my last car I had, got one, but that's 2 and half years ago. Is this mod. just plain rice now or something that still looks good yet?

Depends on if you have the product that's on the shoulder pad. If you have TRD shoulder pads and don't have anything TRD, then it's rice.

Well if I was going to get one, I would get the 5Zigen shoulder pads. But damn!! I don't ever see those. LOL!

I have mine. They just say "Toyota". I have them for the comfort. The belt won't rub against my neck that way.

oh **** i'm ricing.. damn... my friend gave me TRD set in red.. i have a white celica.. i likem cuz it gives my interior a red accent and plus its comfortable.. maybe i should buy one that says Toyota, cuz i hate TRD for what they are doing to us and i have no TRD parts anyways..

ill have them eventaully in my car, but they will also be wrapped aroun the 5 point harnesses :)

Naw, the pads are nice. Call em what you want, I notice the discomfort when I get in a car that doesn't have em.

:werd: , there nice, if i didnt have them, i wouldnt be wearing my seatbelt. plus i didnt put them in the car, until i have some parts.

Well considering your in a TOYOTA putting them in Like actualy having a TRD apperence mod i had them in my car but took them out b/c i hates when ppl got in and didi not pust them down b/c then they would leave all this extra seat belt that did not go roll up

There is nothing rice about them, they are made for comfort purposes.

i have a harness and the buckles are in perfect place to dig into my collar bone. so i've been meaning to pick up a pair in the near future.

i know wat u mean..that's why i put it on my pikachu....i hate it..and they just "throw" the seat belt back and it scratches everything and then they get out and slam the door. =(

I was wondering do you guys have them for all the seatbelts or just the backseats. The one guyI saw taht had these pads only had them for the backseat, and it was only the shoulder pads and none for the lap. Which way do you guys set em up?

i have a pair of black trd - first "mod" if you wanna call it. i don't. they're comfy - nice to rest on when at a red light too! moreover, i always have a couple of furry pals on board and in rotation so that everyone rides in mommy's car (currently a leopard bear, a mini dover & a yellow bear) they're always strapped in too. it's cool to see i'm not the only one :)

Myself, I got black TRD pads because they are comfortable and I think they look nice. People can think what they want about it, its my ride and if they don't like it...so.

who friggin' cares about ricey or not?

i got a pair of those for plain comfort. they are plain grey with no logo. am i rice? i don't care ... i bought a rice car before, i will be buying on in the future also ... and i definatelly will get one in a couple of days ... :-)


just cause i drive a italian car, doesn't mean i am pasta, eh?
