Carbon Fiber hood.. Whats the best quality, brand ect.. Interested in getting one for my 01 toyota celica GT, if reasonable price..

My car is Blue, but LOOKS black, would one still look good on that color car?

cf hood's look fine on your color car. BTW, its called carbon blue. best quality depends on who you talk too, seibon, VIS, also c-one cf hoods plus many other brands. the c-one hood is pricey but very nice IMO. also check the group buy section, i know that at one time there was a seibon and VIS cf sale.

Here are the pics of carbon blue celicas, and some celicas with cf hoods. I dont like the CF hood look on our carbon blue cars, but I have yet to see it in person to judge on my own.

The Cf hood looks pretty good on our color cars.. what websites would u suggest me going to, to get one. and what brand, style?

yup! go to kamispeed.com they have the hood but the hood is pricey. around 1g!

300-500 would be nice but i dont think thats possible, ive found cf hoods for as cheap as 400 but shipping is around 150 :faint:

I should mention also Ive been looking at invader style which costs more then oem. As for quality VIS cf hoods are not pure cf, they are fiberglass wrapped in cf last time i checked, but they come with raised hood scoops, im not going to put my celica into racing so I dont have a problem with the VIS fiberglass, seibon is pure cf though.

i have a vis cf hood and a seibon cf hatch and i think the vis is a better quality....idk and that was a ebay vis hood so ether i got a awsome hood or a ****ty hatch idk still makes the car look awsome.

Yeah like I said thats what I heard, as far as I care I like the VIS Invader Hood more because of the raised hood scoop. Whether it be all cf or fiberglass wrapped in cf.
