the guy i talked to said that they don't make the genx 2 for the celica gts. they do make the genx 1 for it tho...u guys know anything about that? also..how much hp boost did u get?

The GenX2 is for Import EFI 4-Cyl engines. That's why you get a 35-50-75 shot.

yeah his did, first sentence says it. still sounds like a good price, but i would look into getting the remote bottle opener if you have the funds and don't forget the mallory switch. better to spring for it now so you don't have to worry about hitting the rev limiter with spray...:nono:

yeah,i am also gettin the kit ,probley neer the end of summer..i wanna turbo but dont we all.Is there n e thing else i would need thats not included in the kit..and if later i did tc my car wouuld it be safe to spray or would that be just tooo much pressure?

i think that would be too much pressure..but it also depends on the amount of boost ur pushing from the t\c and the nitrious. so u could technically run them both...it'll have to be like a 25 shot of nitrious and at 4 psi boost or something like that...i don't know much about that tho...im sure larryD or someone could answer and further fulfil that question...just thought tha ti would chip in my 2 cents tho.

god ive answered this question so many times already i could be sick.. i really need to write a FAQ..

Nitrous + Turbo is poinltess unless youve reached the bounds of amazing power and if you have, i hope you found a way to convert the car to RWD or AWD..

basically in a nutshell.. if you want more power, instead of running 5psi on the turbo and a 50 shot of nitrous, just run 10psi on the turbo.. its more linear power and would be better for the car anyhow.. But as said before that kind of power WILL require new internals

Thanx larry....i had an idea that that was the answer...the only reoson i was asking is becouse iim getting a fogger setup in a couple of months,but my ultimate goal is turbo....that cost about 7 times as much as a nitrous kit.Not to mention the big ????When is one gonna be released.?IF I ever starve myself to have the money to tc the car ill just sell the nitro kit:evil:

i know cars with big turbos (all race type of cars) sometimes use nitrous to help spool up n get going til the turbo kicks in. for pretty much any celi set up, especially daily driver types, turbo lag should not be too big a deal at all. at least i think.. this of course is all speculation.

the Celica would benefit mostly from a smaller quick spooling turbo like a T28 which is what I believe the WCT kit is going to be.. it will spool fast and hold boost..

Damn, I feel like a jackass! Here I paid $1105US shipped for the Kit with GenX2. I was butchered with shipping costs along with Taxes and what not...worst part is, that doesnt even include the Bottle Opener and the guages that I bought along with it!!
