New Shift Knob. Project **** Gate Complete!!

Well i finally got my new carbon fiber ball shift knob and the felt/rubber dust plate in. The old shift knob and the boot on there just didnt look right. I do however wish my shifter rod was chrome but twm is black :( So this is the final outcome of Project Shift Gate w/o boot. Now i know there are a few on here that had the idea: Its ricer crap to make the car ferrari style with the gate. Honestly i dont care ;) Its shinny and i like it :headbang:

its was on the FS seection but noone bid so a guy is buying it for 50. i am not one to take a sale back form a guy but if oyu want it for like 70 then its yours :)

Hapa77: there is 1 carbon fiber bodykit out there for the celica. i really dont like the style or i would already have it on. smae goes for the c/f rims. only a few style and i didnt like any of them enough to pay for that. :) next is hood and probably fenders but going to paint majority on both of them. i like c/f accent on exterrior more then full c/f shown

vegeta i'll snap a shot tomarrow. i wanna say alittle smaller then a que ball maybe. its a good sized one. much bigger then the newer trd one but not to big. Also its pretty damn heavy so it seems to make the throws go in easier

Looks a lot better than stock boot compliments with your other interior mods. Pretty creative. If you want the shifter boot chrome too they sell chrome tape just cut it in a stripe to wrap around that bare rod section. It looks naked showing like that. It's real durable and if your puting it on just that section of the shifter rod it will only enhance the look and will look great with a combination of your gate plate. Beats sending hundreds for a new rod or chrome plating it. They sell the stuff at any local vinyl store or I believe I saw once at Pep Boys, Autozone, Kragen the stuff should last. It comes in rolls like the chrome graphics you'd see on your old school low riders back in the day. I think it'd look good.

not at all. the pad doesnt hit the shofty gate. if i add 1 more layer then it rubbs
