hey guys, i did a search on this and didnt ome up with anything... i know on some american cars, you can do a key sequence and at that point, the CEL light will blink a certain number of times to tell you what trouble codes it is reading.... is there anything like this on our Celicas? Thanks for hte help

yeah i know that on pontiacs and such you can short two of the OBD leads...
I havent heard that you can do that on the celi.. and havent seen it in the manual either... I was gonna try it but figured shorting the leads of 2 wires that come from the car computer might not be such a hot idea...
still though they have standards for those things that should apply all cars that have OBD-II ... so it might work...
if you want a cheap CEL diag. soln. you can get a really cheap palmpilot ($50 or even less on ebay) and hook it up to pocketlogger software...

Cheaper way is go to your local AutoZone and they'll give you your codes for free.

Hmm will they give you data off your OBD2 datastream? If so I have a great MAF diagnostic I could share with you guys.
