ok, my sunroof slider has dirt on it right where the 2 pieces meet in the middle.....does anyone know what i could use to clean it without staining the slider? thanks

I doesn't matter, because it will get dirty again. I had mine replaced twice and it keeps getting dirty. Give up.
If you want to try, I would try something like simple green, but don't hold me on that. Never tried it.

Yeah, mine is dirty too, but I realize it will get dirty right after I clean it, what's the point?

sometimes when its open its really loud tho.. like on the freeway

i used car upholstery foam cleaner..didnt stain worked great too
Dealer will fix (replace it) for you under warranty - but it's only gonna do the same thing (known problem) - just keep it open as BB stated. - that's what I do.

I just got my car back fron getting the sunroof tint fixed and figured I would have them replace the slider once more for the hell of it. This one has a plastic spacer where it always got dirty that the other ones didn't have. This one may actually stay clean!!! If yours doesn't have a plastic piece, you may want to try to replace it one last time. :thumbup:

mine got jammed. went to the dealer for warranty issue. they gave me all brand spankin new parts.

Yeah i noticed how the new ones with the sliders don't have the dirt....time to get it replaced...
