I'm kinda new here I guess. I haven't really "participated in the community" yet, but I've made posts with questions on how to fix my little whore of a car. :P So, hi! My name is Scott, and I live in Boynton Beach. I drive a 2000 Carbon Blue GT, rocking stock everything, and a pimp automatic transmission. I'm praying for a hurricane to crush my car with trees so i can go buy a newer model manual GT-S. :)
Nonetheless, I've liked Celicas ever since the mid 90's, but when 7th gen came out, I fell in love. Too bad it took me 6 years to get one. :) So, just here for the love of the Celis. Lemme know if there are any meets around here. see ya!

You say this because you own nothing.
Oh, and in 1999, Hurricane Irene hit the east coast of FL. It came ashore as a very weak hurricane (if a hurricane at all). To avoid panicking people, the news stated "stay at home; should just be windy and rainy". The storm was generally weak, however, gusts were up to 65-70 mph. The rain saturating the ground, and the wind gusts were just enough to push a 100 year old oak tree right on top of my car totaling it, and move another one about 5 feet over from where it was parked. I personally believe that if he parks in the right spot, there is a very good chance he can total his car today.

Hello Scott
Don't know how long you've been surfing the FL forum, but in case you haven't gathered this already from simple observation, there has been a recent quarrel that has developed between the performance and carshow fanatics. Just so you know upfront, this is not how it usually is. I don't want you to get an entirely wrong impression of this crowd. You see, we (and I am generally speaking for the performance fans) have nothing against show fans. But, we do get a kick out of poking fun at carshow fanatics with bad taste.
For instance...

In case the pictures didn't make it clear enough, e_degeek and CAT, "clean" has nothing to do with being stock.

Hello, BadMnky!
Those "bad taste" cars are actually...real show cars? That's pretty pathetic. I have somewhat of an artistic eye, and I know that if my car looked like that, I shouldn't bring it to a show...or is that common sense? Lol
I guess some people here don't know how to spell and how to read (UbadmnkyBad and some other no life)
My car is UNDER CONSTRUCTION. If you are too stupid to understand then don't be posting stupid comments about my car. You guys could hate and talk as much **** as you want, but I'll be the one laughing when my car is finally done.
It's funny how you guys call me ricer because basically all of us are ricers since we don't have domestic cars.

Look at your wing! Look at you red windshield wipers! Quick poll, who has color windshield wipers? Props for putting the kit on yourself however it doesnt take almost 1/2 a year to put on and paint. If it is left on there that long more than likely it will stay like that. Not to mention riding around like that is costing you money or time (if you are painting the kit). The more chips you put in the kit, the longer it will take to prep. If money is the issue, get out of modding or do something less expensive. But in all seriousness instead of rolling out with Unphinished Businezz, stay home and finish the kit or put the stock back on until you can afford paint or have time to paint it. It isnt just us that gives you a hard time about it, people in riced civics are laughing too!

Can't Spell??? That's your defense? You're fvcking pathetic, and you're messing with the wrong girl when it comes to writing. Must I really go back and correct the spelling and grammar in your posts? I mean, if you really would like the help, let me know. It seems your school must have left out that chapter, huh? Must I remind you about your club's car slogan, "A Car is never Finished, Only giving up on?" GIVING????? And why are only half the words capitalized too?
Furthermore, "under construction" simply means it's NOT DONE. Who in their right mind would ever show anything when it's NOT DONE? Don't you still posess the stock bumper?? PUT IT ON UNTIL YOU PAINT THE OTHER ONE!
Do yourself a favor....purchase this book, and then get back to me:

I know it helped me in my four years at the Journalism college. Perhaps it can help you too. Particularly pay attention to the proper use of a comma - it seems you need help in that.
And even after all those photo examples, I see you STILL haven't grasped the concept of "clean" either. Try this...go into OT (that stands for the Off-topic forum), post that lovely picture of your car, and let me know what response you get. And don't worry, they're much more friendly in OT than in here.
Good luck!

You know, this reminds me of a 6-year-old that runs home from school, tugs on your pant leg and shows you a picture of a blob she drew in class that apparently is suppose to be a "pretty horsey." The best way to go about this is to just let her pretend it's a pretty horsey and get back to work.

I'm not sure what area you're in cause I'm not really FROM Florida, so I don't know how close to Pensacola you are. On the weekends, me and several Celica-driving friends gather on Pensacola Beach to cruise around, take pictures, hang out and have good times. Let me know if you're interested, it's nothing huge, but fun times with other Celica enthusiasts.

Are you saying that you went to college for four years, but you still act like a 5-year-old? OK, first of all, that sentence didn't even make sense because she never said she acted like a 5-year-old :wtf:
I think you should read that book again because of what you wrote earlier. Without the "of" you are basically saying that she should read a book cause she wrote something. Not exactly clever Also, who in the hell told you that I take my car to car shows???? At least you know what UNDER CONSTRUCTION means. I do the work on my car myself. New thought, new sentence... This forum is about cars not journalists, so I think you are the one messing with the wrong chick. Um, you realize you were the one to bring spelling into the mix first, right? So :chiggy:
Speaking about OT ("talking about" does not make sense), I think this forum should be called OT Florida. (And we already have one of those.) You're not exactly making yourself credible in the spelling/grammar/reading comprehension department with posts like these, now are you, CAT?
