Please, please help me out. If you can answer them, please do.
Just got my TRD springs

-did you cut the bumpstops? How much?

-how long before the shocks last for 1" drop in smooth daily driving?

-if the shocks do go within the warranty period, can I switch back my OEM ones and go back to dealership? after all TRD does have some sort of warranty partnership with Toyota, don't they?

-whats the spring rate that the TRD flexes?

Can answer a few of your questions:

1. Did not cut bumpstops and it has not been an issue so far but I rarely have more than one passenger on board.

2. Have approx. 6000 on the springs and no shock issues to date.

3. I assume you are asking if you go back to the OEM springs after the shocks die? Shocks, clutches, brakes etc. are normally considered wear items and are not covered under the warranty. You would have to present a pretty convincing case that there was a manufacturing defect leading to premature failure.

4. Read it somewhere but don't have it handy, sorry.

You're welcome, I'm sure you will be very pleased with the results. Don't forget to get an alignment a couple of weeks after install.

No an alignment when you install. Springs don't settle

I have heard that before. Why did my car continue to get lower after the initial installation?

Hmm alignment immediately or after?

I had mine done about 2 weeks after the installation. From the time I put them in to alignment it dropped a little more than 1/2 inch. Don't know what real impact that had on the alignment but that is what I did.

I had my TRD springs installed about 6 months ago and never got an alignment done. Just wondering what effects this would have...

My alignment was definitely off after the spring installation, there was a noticible camber change in the rear.
