i want to make my car alot faster all around but i am mainly wanting acceleration. i want to get the best times in a quarter mile, so which is better to do a super carger or turbo charger. i have always been told for acceleration i want a super charger but i have also been told that when im at the line im already reving past 3000 or 4000 rpm's so the turbo would be spooled. any suggestions or input. thanks

Turbo for gt- super for gts. You should upgrade your internals first though. Super is better of the line because it doesnt suffer from turbo lag however a decent turbo setup would be quicker in the 1/4.

^^ biggest myth about 2zz and 1zz's. If you understand how turbos and superchargers work, you would not be saying that. turbos will still be faster in the 1/4 because in the 1/4 you are mostly revving in the high ranges where the turbo is spooling and makes most of its power. turbos make more power in the 2zz too since it does not rely on the engine, such as a supercharger does. basically a supercgarger needs power to make power, and our celi engines don't make much power anyways. if you really want to know, just do your own research and you will find out. heres some great links

For a DD, probably S/C would be ideal, especially given that the Greddy kit is relatively inexpensive. If you want a full-out track car, I think turbo all the way. Also might want to consider a LSD, DR's, and weight reduction.
