Question, if you wire in new guage faces does your trip go back to zero? I assume this will affect the warranty?
Thanks

the replacement indiglo style guages that only change the faces of the speedo and tach don't change the odo.

however, if you get the TRD full gauge cluster, it will. and then you'll have issues not only with the warranty but when trade-in or sell the car the milage will be listed as unknown. that will, likely, lower your resale value.

so, if you order gauges off ebay, you're fine with the warranty. if you get the TRD, you won't be.

like he said. if you order the guage faces, then no. if you order the entire replacement, then yes. i'm guessing that you haven't taken this thing apart yet to understand it. i didn't understand what the difference was and what the heck people meant by the cluster until i actually replaced the face.

to my knowledge, TRD is the only one who makes a replacement cluster. it switches the location of the speedo and tach (so you have a center tach with white face and a speedo in the left with a black face).

the gauges you found are replacement faces and don't affect the odo.

so, you're fine.
