What is Rice?

OK... Alot of people call this and that rice,
but I was wondering what everyone considers
RICE to be. Personally I feel rice can be identified
by a few general charectaristics:

1) A car is made to look like something it's not. (IE: A BOV noise coming from a car w/ no BOV)

2) A car that's cosmetically modified to a distasteful point (IE: 6-inch fart pipe and whale-tail wing on a civic dx)

This ofcourse is all a matter of opinion.
But if eveyone and thier mother tells you
your car is rice, it probably is. There are other
things that can make a car rice.. so let me know
what you think, im just curious. BTW domestics
can be riced out too.

It all depends on ones personal taste as long as its znything really obnoxious... Know what I mean... Like that ride with the home made 5 foot tall wooden spoiler or steelies covered with foil... Now that I consider to be rice... Hope that helps...

Actually I precer TAC for the whale Tales over rice (TAC = Tiawaneese Air Command) but hey its all good :)

Rice is anyone that has a ton of money into wheels, tires Graphics stereo and body kits and has the car covered with racing stickers but doesnt have jack S*#T under the hood to back it all up.

Rice is also anyone that bolts a 3 inch chrome exhaust tip on a 1 inch exhaust.

Ghetto Rice is unpainted primer grey mody kits that have been on the car for over 2 weeks ;)

Actually rice is a grain....

You can eat it and use it in brewing beer...tasty

i think rice is an urge to do something completely unnecessary.
you can end up doing pretty stupid things that each fit into their own category.
