i need the part number for the tube joint clip... SF-15 page 152 (http://www.newcelica.org/other/technical/manuals/volume2.pdf).
i was on my way to work today and the car died coming to a red light. i pop the hood and check around and nothing. then some guy passed me at the light and said that i was leaking something from the bottom of the car. so i pop the fuel cover off and see that the fuel line is not connected to the pump with the clip in question. had to macgyver a paperclip to hold it in place. im going to see if i can search around the fuel tank, but i doubt ill find it.
didnt see one on partznet.com, but maybe i over looked it. any ideas?

Its not in the parts list, you have to go to the body parts catalog, go to fuel system, fuel system components, click on fuel pump and then click View Illustration to get to it. Its really retarded how its set up.

I found it strange that it was in the collision/body parts catalog instead of the replacement/mechanical parts. On top of that trademotion doesnt post part numbers for most small items. It took me 25 min to find that stupid diagram cause i was searching mechanical parts.

yeah, thats what i was doing... i didnt even think of looking in collision/body parts. but as long as they have it.
i order all my crap from partznet.com anyway... cause i bet if i went to my local toyota that clip would be on backorder, take 2 weeks to get here and cost me $5.

You have too much faith in toyota stealerships, its $15, and it would be on backorder from Japan. Your little clip would have to ride the boat over here. :chuckles:

How did you casually noticed fuel leaking out the bottom? from the output line on the top of the pump? Just happen to have your seats gone and rip the plate open?
