Do you have slicks? Get some DOT street-legal slicks, and that should improve your times considerably.
I'm kinda surprised, but I think with a 50, shouldn't you be running 13's already?
How are you launching the car?

btw-what do u mean by the car gets slow? Do you mean it starts feeling slower after awhile or really is slower?

nah it jus feels slower, its not slower im jus used to flipping the switch, u know what i mean, well it ran a 14.02 an the launch was pretty good so i was wondering if i could go witha 65 shot or something, an would it help out if i launched on the bottle?

Hmm..that could be your problem, you mean you're not launching on the bottle, huh?
So far (of course i'm using a 35 so traction loss isn't as bad) I flick the switch, launch at 4,500, feather the clutch and once I gain traction I go WOT, and carry on from there. You've definetly gotta have that nitrous on from the beginning. You do have a throttle positions switch, right?
If you're immediately mashing the pedal down after a launch, you might be getting too much wheelspin.
What's your slips say for your numbers?

damn...14s are soooo slow on the bottle, even if you're not launching on it...you should be a good second faster if you're a really good driver. so let's see the #s on your slips...maybe some of us can help

it's gotta be your car's weight...stereo stuff (especially in the trunk) adds up. how big a boy ere ya? couple of suggestions...
1. lose the stereo for the track...my false floor was built around the spare tire screw thingy so i can take it out for the strip.
2. your 60' is pretty good, but maybe you should lower your tire pressure in front, raise it in rear, or buy some drag radials
3. you are trapping very fast, so if all else fails buy a LSD (I know that's not the cheapest solution but it will definitely work)

What's your bottle pressure psi, and how are you maintaining the psi?

it was pretty ****ty that night, it was around 750 or 800 psi, i just heated my bottle before i went to the track an by the time i got there it had already gotten cold, i think that a bottle heater would be a good investement......

I used a 75 shot when I ran my 13.9, and that was pre-S-AFC and De-flanged manifolds..

YES!!! a bottle heater is a must!! 750-800 psi is alright ...i guess,
but if you get a bottle heater and crank it up to about 950-1050 and you'll feel the difference. the gen x 2 kit is a good idea- it includes the bottle heater, pressure gauge, purge...etc.
