Hey guys n' ladies, I'm planing on painting my dash trims ann other bits inside my 'Celi' What kind of paint should i be using? I will be primering it and also clear coat it after it is painted. But i need to know what type of paint i should be using. Suggestion and help would be helpful. Thank you in advance for the people that responds.

One more thing....how do i remove the vents. I would like to paint that to. Can someone help me on how to remove those? Thanks again.

Take a flat screw driver and insert along the side in the middle and pry lightly. The vent will come out in 2 pieces.

Doesn't really matter. Just make sure you prime them well after sanding them down. And use a good clear coat. That's it

Is there any recommended clear coat i should buy and where i can get it? Or do i just goto like HOME DEPOT and ask them what clear coat they have? please help me out. Thanks

I would not recomend pulling the vent's out like that... I have had my entire dash out and I have seen how the vents go in.. the way mentioned might get the two peices out but I have a feeling you will break the each vent housing has two screw's holding it in place along with the fact that it is form fitted around the dash opening for them to make sure they seal good then they have the venting behind them... the dash is a very big pain in the a$$ to pull out you have to drop the sterring column along with a host of other problems... now to your question... if you are painting peices I recomend sanding them with 80 grit for initial prep going to an auto paint store and getting K200 primer and using that once the primer is on use a guide coat and wet sand the peices with 400 grit then paint it with actual auto paint and clear coat .. don't go to home depot remember you get what you pay for
