Well I have 118k on my 2000 auto gt-s and the transmission is nearing the end of its life. I haven't driven it for a few months already since I bought my s2000. I'm giving the car to my little brother since he gets his license in a month. So I want to make sure he gets a functional car. Do you guys know where I could possibly order a used one ? I want to avoid the stealership as much as possible. Thanks in advance ;]

For starters, check craigslist.org. I found a cheap transmission and engine once. If you dont, go to your local junkyard where you can salvage one from a wrecked celica.
Are you apart of s2ki.com yet?

I've already tried all the salvage yards.. isn't there an online website that speacializes in used OEM parts?
And yes, sk2i.org has been my new home ;]

When was the last time you had your tranny fluid flushed?
You can try TAPS

Or if you want OEM

Automatic trannies are worthless on the forums. Just look around, I've seen them go for next to nothing. There are also people who buy up motors/trannies from junk yards and resell them. You might want to see if you have any such places near you.
