O'No, Broken Sway bar...

I've been hearing this noice coming from my rear strut area so I asumed I needed a new strut, well tonight I notice something hanging on the ground...

My Hotchkis competition sway broke.. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Any ideas of how this may have happpened?

How old is it? I remember the one version had weak welds.. except yours didn't break on the weld..

Hotchkis had an older design, which was 2 or 3 bars welded together to form one. Their new ones are one piece from the start to solve the above problem.

Not that hard at all.. Car see's about 2 hrs a driving a week... Thats what so terribling..

As long as they replace it. I've had my sway bars on since 2003 and I drive mine at least 2 hrs every day from Apr-Nov and I've had no problems. *knock on wood*

The bar was one of my first mods. Bar's been on for 2+ years...

I didn't hear it break rather everytime I hit a bump I heard it... So I don't know where it may have happened.
